PERFORMANCE EVALUATIONS

Formal performance evaluations are given periodically to ensure the standards of every position are being met.  This is a time that acceptable performance will be recognized, and unacceptable performance will be addressed.  Your supervisor will set goals for you to work on in the next review period.  Some things your supervisor will be looking to review are:

  • Creation of learning environments
  • Understanding of subject matter
  • Learning experiences of students

How often will I be evaluated?

How often will I be evaluated?

Classified Staff
 
During the probationary period (first 6 months of employment), you will be evaluated three times. 
 
Once you have reached permanent status, you will be evaluated annually, no later than May 1st of each school year. 
 
 

Certificated Staff 

 

During the probationary period (first two school years), you will be evaluated once per school year.
 
Once you have reached permanent status, you will be evaluated every year that your performance is below standard, but every two years if your performance meets or is above the standard.
